About BMP to JPG conversion
BMP is introduced by Microsoft in 1987 with Windows 2.0 and is the classic Windows bitmap graphics standard for Windows legacy software, uncompressed pixel data. JPG was created by Joint Photographic Experts Group in 1992 and is best for photographs, email attachments. Note: JPG doesn't support transparency. Any transparent areas in your BMP file will appear white in the converted JPG. BMP files can be a problem when their support is limited — converting to JPG solves compatibility issues.
